Activity update
Amidst all the fatherhood obligations, I’ve found time to post something. Here’s an update.

It’s been really cold outside, so we burn every wood available


On a trip to the nearby garbage can, I found a rusty Peugeot bike, missing the front wheel





The bike was huge and the fork accomodated really well a 26’ balloon tire. So I got thinking about modifying the red baron cruiser.
Made and welded new dropouts in order to extend and lower the bike a bit:



Added length to the steering column to receive the new fork


Made a new seat using my brother’s skateboard




Made extentions for the front wheel in order to add yet more lenght and lower the bike


Shortened the headstem




Made some truss rods and a bracket



Painted it all


Painted the rims



After painting the frame this is the outcome:









Also I made another seat for the other bike using the other end of the skateboard:




On the other hand I’m thinking about fitting this engine onto the Villiers BTR, but the carburetor has a damaged fuel valve so it floods. I need to replace it.



And also I’ve got a new machine: 1968 Opel Rekord 1.9S




So this it the update for the last 3 months..
